We are pleased to offer this Leverage Leadership (LL) programme for the next academic year 2021-2022.
A highly respected framework among School Leaders, many of today's most successful Schools and Trusts owe something to the principles of Leverage Leadership.
The newly created Department for Education Exemplary Leadership Programme led by STAR Academies along with Dixons, Outwood Grange and Inspirations Trusts has LL at its core.
This SWIFT Leadership Leverage in Action programme takes key LL approaches and provides Headteachers and Senior Leaders with a framework that will enable them to implement their own vision, values and culture into their school.
The LL approach is modelled through the lens of ‘Culture and Behaviour’ and ‘Observation, Feedback and Coaching’; and this approach can be applied to any aspect of school leadership.
● An exploration of the 7 Levers of Leverage Leadership.
● The ‘See It, Name It, Do it’ approach will be applied to the context of the day’s theme.
● Expert inputs from practising leaders that have used LL principles to improve significantly pupil outcomes, behaviour, and culture in their school.
● School walkarounds on each day.
The programme will be two face-to-face days at West Exe School and Torquay Academy.
Day 1 | Wednesday 13 October 2021 | 0930 - 1500 | School Culture and Behaviour
Ideally attended by Headteacher and the Behaviour Lead.
Day 2 | Tuesday 18 January 2022 | 0930 - 1500 | Observation, Feedback and Coaching
