Isaac Computer Science Pilot Events for GCSE Students!
Isaac Computer Science will be running its very first GCSE pilot events on Wednesday 13 October 2021, with two sessions aimed to different levels of ability.
The sessions will help GCSE students understand the fundamental concepts of data representation of text and images, and also provide an opportunity to try out some of the new GCSE materials available on the Isaac Computer Science platform.
Computing at School (CAS) is delighted to announce that CAS Inspire returns in September with an exciting programme of events planned.
The September sessions were centred around blended learning and supporting mental health.
In October, the focus is on careers in Computing, getting girls into Computing and preparing to teach and/or lead primary Computing.
There will be a break during November for the CAS Autumn event and then the programme returns late November/early December with sessions which support diversity and inclusion and how to do more with coding.
The Teach Computing curriculum offers six detailed units of work for Key Stages 1 and 2.
This online session will give you a clear overview of the units you will cover in Year 3. The session will include an overview of the resources and slides available as well as a demonstration of the recommend software.
